Wedding: Ceremony

We got married outside on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River. Both our parents walked us both down the "aisle". We played a song called Ring Out The Warning Bell by The Appleseed Cast. Our minister from Sydney came down with his family to marry us. We didn't have bridesmaids or groomsmen, instead we got our really special friends to have a part in the ceremony, readings, prayers, mc-ing, helping with music etc.
It always makes me laugh that our parents ended up co-ordinated without any planning. Tim's family where the red team, they even had a red car, and mine the blue, and yes my folks at the time owned a blue car. The dogs came too. I always wanted that. My little brother had the rings and ended up holding my flowers for me.
We both cried as we said our vows, and I have to rely on others here in that almost everyone else did too. I just couldn't see coz my eyes where all blurry! My most memorable moment was Tim wiping a tear off my cheek and smiling at me as he told me "with this ring I wed you". It was a grey morning and literally as we started the ceremony at 2pm the sun came out from behind the clouds!
