Chocolate crackle - for grownups.

I had a craving the other day. A craving for flapjack, coupled with a craving for chocolate. So I threw a heap of yummy stuff together in a bowl, then I did it 2 more times - just to make sure I was doing it right, and this is what I've got. The crazy sweetness of a block of cadburys coupled with the zing of a bit of booze and the grownup healthy-ness (deluded) of oats, raisins and coconut. Happy Easter guys!

To make 6 - 8 you need:
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of shredded coconut
1/2 cup dried dates, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons of rum
250g block of fair trade milk chocolate
4 tablespoons of coconut oil

Then:
Put the raisins and rum in a bowl and cover. Leave for atlast half an hour or overnight if you have the foresight!
Over a double boiler melt the chocolate with the coconut oil. Mix all the other ingrediants together in a large bowl, including the rum soaked raisins. Once the chocolate has melted, add it to the dry ingrediants, mix it al together and spoon into patty pans. Those fancy card ones are best for this. Pop them in the fridge for half an hour to go solid. Give them away as Easter presents -if you can bear it!
