The Hunter.
Who knew that behind this kitchen pantry:
 Was This:
Score eh what? It is the original stove from the house, which was built in the late 1920's - whilst I appreciate it's beauty, I don't think I will be switching to wood fired cooking any time soon. We are planning on turning it into a barbeque and pizza oven outside, what do you think?!

  1. OH! What a treasure! And hopefully a tiny silver lining after a very disheartening time with the house being savaged by the floods! xxx

  4. Oh Wow! Great find!! I agree though, if you were here in Tassie, inside would be great but for your weather an outside pizza oven would be glorious!! Nice new pantry in the alcove then??

    1. Yup stoking a fire on a 40 degree day does not sound cool to me! Let alone working out what temperature the thing is! We are going to make sure it is well taken care of though. I have no idea what to do withthe alcove! The chimney needs capping off, but the mantle is too low for a cupboard... many plans for the new kitchen are afoot! *s*
