Chop and Change

 

So this is what my hair was like. Looooong.

And now look what I did.
Well actually someone much more talented than me in the hairdressing department did!

Now I know it's just a hair cut. But seriously, major pruning work was done here. At least 12 inches... poof... gone. I haven't had hair this short since I was 10 years old!
It was a snap decision one evening in Uganda. I held my hair up short and thought... hmmm maybe my hair doesn't have to be the defining look about me... I then had to do this every night for the rest of the time just to get used to the idea. It was scary, I felt light headed, I keep on using too much shampoo, I'm going to actually have to use some product in my hair now but 2010 is the year of change (I've decided) so here's to new beginings.
