Life lately...

Our ABC Open story is on the front page of the ABC website today - which is pretty cool! Apart from a wee bit of flirting with the media (hehe!) it's been quiet around these parts.
* Days consisting of walking the dog, admiring the blossom (come onnn Spring!), writing lesson plans for next week, marking assignments and answering students emails (yeah right it's a non contact period!).
* The electricians have run the new cable around our house and put bigger holes in the walls and now its somebody else's turn to turn up...Who's next and when is anybodies guess!
* We've painted an undercoat on the walls that exist in the living room. Don't hate us for painting over that wood paneling! That's a previous owners attempt to take the lead paint off and they only managed one wall! The rest of it is lead green! Too hard basket!
* The broccoli is going great guns we ate our first one on the weekend, as are the beets, parsnips, onions, garlic, peas and beans - especially now that they have a veil over them to proctect them from the bloody cockatoos!
* We bought the worlds sexiest shower drain and kitchen tap. Just look at that shower drain?!! Who knew they could be so pretty?!
* And our film for Wagga Wagga Fest is a finalist! We are going to see it on the big screen and hear the winner announced (fingers and toes crossed please!!!) next Friday! How exciting is that?? You can see our movie (about the flood and blogging) right here and you can vote for us in the People's Choice award right here. Thank you to those of you who have watched and voted!! And sorry about the bombardment! We're both just a tad excited! I get to dress up in a fancy frock and see my own face (and butt eek!) on a movie screen!!!! Amazing!

  1. Great job with the paint work and how awesome to grow your own broccoli! That shower drain is pure awesomeness. It reminds me of a Captain Hero badge, or something along those lines. :)
