Anon

When I was little I remember reading poetry books and thinking gosh how prolific this person anon is. Mega hand to forehead moment when I realized that it meant anonymous.

Anonymous is around these parts more and more these days. Super annoying to find what you thought was a comment to be nothing but spam. But seriously some of the things written are hysterical. For example:
"Undeniаblу believe that which you stаted. Υour fаvoгitе reason аppeaгеd to be on the internet the simрlest thіng to be awarе of. Ι sаy tο уou, I cеrtainly get irked while peoplе conѕider worriеs that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect, people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks Also visit my web .... "

riiiigggggghhhhhhhhttttttttt....

This one has bothered to work out the title of the post but clearly not see that I have social media sites listed in my side bar...

" I almost never drop responses, however i did some searching and wound up here "Absent...". And I actually do have 2 questions for you if it's allright. Is it only me or does it seem like some of these responses look like coming from brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are writing at other social sites, I'd like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post. Visit my website "

Anyway, I'm considering putting those stupid annoying type this in to prove your not a spammer" boxes in. Do they work for this kind of thing? Is anyone else plagued by random companies pretending to be for real?

EDIT: Irony of ironies. I just got a stupid nonsensical anon comment on this post! Ha!

  1. Hi Sophie! Love the doggie pictures - they are all so full of a lust for life I could definitely take a page out of their energetic books! Also what a great idea to put a gorgeous pastel picket fence around your compost - no practical area in a house or garden has to look unattractive! Haven't had any spam myself, hopefully they leave you along soon :)

  2. Love the beautiful yellow wattle, Sophie. Spam is dead set annoying. I used to have word verification but they can take up a lot of commenters' time so I've switched to having a tiny checkbox to indicate they're not a spammer...

  3. Wow, so cohesive *giggle* ;) Spammers are frustrating. I do think the check boxes help although they can be as annoying for people trying to post comments, especially if you only want to leave a short comment then end up typing more for the verification words. I occasionally still have them get through though so have been thinking of removing it and just dealing with the spammers by deleting as needed.
    Gorgeous Wattle btw :)
