Proof. I made it. It may not exist any more, but I made this chocolate caramel cheesecake and it was goooooood. So the berry's may be hiding a big fat crack in the top of it but who likes perfectionists anyway? And I didn't have enough biscuit to go up the side's but whatev's. The taste is lovely and complex and suprisingly not too rich - well considering that's like 600gs of cream cheese plus dark chocolate, sour cream, and caramalised sugar...
Photography was an after thought for this one I'm afraid.
Wowsers, that looks like an incredible dessert! How good are the berries at the moment?
ReplyDeleteThere must be something in the air as I made a cheesecake this week too. Like you I had to cover up an enormous crack but my camouflage of choice was cherries (luckily cracks don't affect deliciousness!
ReplyDeleteYummmmmmmmm! That looks divine! :)
ReplyDeleteOh.My.Giddy.Aunt.Yum.
ReplyDeleteInspirational - you've got to love a little Smitten Kitchen action.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing - am thinking that this might make the perfect b'day cake for my dear old daddyo.
