Garden Update Spring

Our house is looking particularly sweet in it's spring glory at the moment.
The sweet peas are going absolutely nuts, they smell amazing and are a riot of pink purple and white.
Cucumbers and pumpkins coming up.
Bee's checking out the flowering onion heads.
Last of the anemones in the side garden.
The standard iceburgs out the front are blooming.
The white flowers of the front garden are just amazing - filling the beds to the brim - just the look I love (we've got seaside daisy, white ranunculus and dusty miller in shot here).
The porch has had a spring clean. Tim re-oiled the deck, we rearranged all the succulents and I finally got around to doing up that white cane chair - I'll show you a close up soon.

These are really September Spring pictures - more has happened - I just need to photograph it!

Little Blue House Tour: Bedroom

Our bedroom - as finished as it gets for now... still to come: New bedside tables, a frame for our gladiator girl, a bedhead??? this armchair (in my dreams!) and more art for the walls...
What should I do for a bedhead? Should I block mount or frame our gladiator girl poster? Should there be more colour? Why is this room so much harder?

Everything is found/made/vintage/a gift except:

Bed Frame: Greg Hatton custom made for me
White Chest of drawers & bedding - Ikea
Bedside lamps - Officeworks

See our living room...
See our kitchen...

Before, During & After: Kitchen

So, the one room which is finished... mmmm, most finished anyway I thought might be ready for a little look around... This room is worth seeing the before of - it's been one of the most drastic (and fantastic) changes the flood brought!
This is how it was when we bought it:
The curtains went within 3 hours, and we made do with a bar fridge for the first month. Note the sink off centre to the window, leaving no room to stack dirty or clean dishes and the generally crapola layout. We also painted the beige cupboards blue to cheer the space up until we could renovate (a room tour I was going to do for you, which didn't ever eventuate!).

This is what it looked like when we walked in the door after the flood:

Then it got stripped back completely, (you may remember this find) and we insulated the walls:

And now it looks a little something like this...
